CGAP - Creating Short-form Video and Multimedia Content for CGAP's Digital Channels

CGAP’s communications team works closely with technical experts to translate complex insights into accessible content that supports financial inclusion and its role in sustainable development. This project seeks a creative firm (The Firm) to develop compelling video and multimedia assets that support these efforts, enhancing CGAP’s visibility, reach, and engagement across digital platforms.

Objectives                                                                                                             

The Firm will help CGAP amplify its voice across social and digital channels by producing high-quality content that expands reach and engagement with target audiences, raises awareness of CGAP’s work and priorities, and influences key actors in the global development and financial inclusion ecosystem.

Scope of Work                                                                                                                                                 

The Firm will develop short-form digital content optimized for social media and adaptable for other formats such as websites, events, or presentations. This may include short storytelling and longer-form videos, podcasts, infographics, animated charts/graphs, animations, and designed visuals, as well as suggested social media copy as requested. Approximately 8–10 assets will be produced per month for the duration of the contract.

In addition, the Firm will support broader digital communications strategy efforts, including increasing its presence on YouTube and supporting paid campaigns.

Methodology and Specific Tasks                                                                                                                 

The Firm will work in close coordination with the Task Manager and other members of CGAP’s communications team. Key tasks include:

·       Collaborating with the team to ideate and align content with CGAP’s editorial priorities.

·       Producing and publishing content in line with CGAP’s digital strategy and content calendar.

·       Tracking, evaluating, and reporting on content performance on a quarterly basis, aligned with CGAP’s reporting schedule.

·       Offering recommendations to strengthen CGAP’s digital communications strategy based on performance insights.

 

The CGAP communications team will review and provide feedback throughout the production process to ensure alignment with project objectives.

Deliverable(s)                                                                                         

The following are expected deliverables based on the scope of work defined above:

  • Weekly editorial meetings: Participation in regular content ideation and planning meetings.
  • Monthly content production: Delivery of 8–10 pieces of finalized content per month.
  • Quarterly performance reports: Insights on content performance and strategic recommendations, aligned with CGAP’s mid-year and annual reporting timelines (mid-year and full-year reports will be provided in the second and fourth quarters, respectively).

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

The World Bank Group invites eligible firms to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc. for firms; CV and cover letter for individuals). Please note that the total size of all attachments should be less than 5MB. Firms may associate to enhance their qualifications unless otherwise stated in the solicitation documents. Where a group of firms associate to submit an EOI, they must indicate which is the lead firm. If shortlisted, the firm identified in the EOI as the lead firm will be invited to the request for proposal (RFP) phase.

Following this invitation for EOI, a shortlist of qualified firms will be formally invited to submit proposals. Shortlisting and selection will be subject to the availability of funding.

Only those firms which have been shortlisted will be invited to participate in the RFP phase. No notification or debrief will be provided to firms which have not been shortlisted.
