ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION
Consultancy activities will be aimed at strengthening education for accountants and auditors in Ukraine. The activities will include conducting Trainer of Trainers (ToT) courses for universities' lecturers, supported by development of training materials.
The objective of this assignment is to provide support to the Audit Public Oversight Body (APOB) of Ukraine and 8selected universities in strengthening education for auditors and accountants, through conducting the following activities:
1)(A)Conducting Train of Trainers Courses for lecturers at selected universities on the following modules, supported by learning materials:
-Financial Accounting (FA)
-Management Accounting (MA)
-Business and Technology (BT)
-Performance Management (PM)
-Taxation (TX)
-Financial Reporting (FR)
-Audit and Assurance (AA)
-Financial Management (FM)
CONSULTANT QUALIFICATIONS
1. *The Firm should be accredited by the independent center for conducting examination for audit qualification in Ukraine.
2. *The firm should have an extensive experience in training and examining aspiring accountants and auditors for internationally recognized accounting professional qualifications.
3. *Possessing rights for translation into Ukrainian of educational materials of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
4. *Trainers should have internationally recognized professional qualification and a Master’s degree in accounting, audit or finance.
*Trainers should have at least 10 years of experience in the role of an accountant, auditor, university professor, financial manager consultant, or equivalent; or alternatively worked in tertiary education and have a history of teaching, research in accounting/auditing/financial reporting, and advising authorities on their financial reporting frameworks.
*Proven experience in performing assessments and/or drafting legislative acts, legal analysis incorporate sector financial reporting.
* Strong knowledge of International Educational Standards.
* Strong knowledge of national legislation system and of relevant for this assignment legal acts.
*Strong knowledge in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Standards on Auditing (ISA).
*Good understanding of EU requirements in corporate financial and sustainability reporting and audit.
*Demonstrated ability to provide intellectual leadership in the field of corporate sector financial reporting.
*Strong analytical, planning, organization, and time management skills.
*Excellent writing and presentation skills.
*Excellent Ukrainian and good English proficiency.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
The World Bank Group invites eligible firms to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc. for firms; CV and cover letter for individuals). Please note that the total size of all attachments should be less than 5MB. Firms may associate to enhance their qualifications unless otherwise stated in the solicitation documents. Where a group of firms associate to submit an EOI, they must indicate which is the lead firm. If shortlisted, the firm identified in the EOI as the lead firm will be invited to the request for proposal (RFP) phase.

NOTES
Following this invitation for EOI, a shortlist of qualified firms will be formally invited to submit proposals. Shortlisting and selection will be subject to the availability of funding.
Only those firms which have been shortlisted will be invited to participate in the RFP phase. No notification or debrief will be provided to firms which have not been shortlisted.
