The assignment's main objective is to provide high level policy advisory to the Ministry of Health in its ambitious agenda to eliminate TB in Indonesia. The Government of Indonesia continues its commitment to prioritize elimination of TB in Indonesia ans it is currently a part of the President’s Quick Win Program. The Ministry of Health has increased its ambition on TB—now aiming to find and notify 90% of its new TB cases and successfully treat 90% of these cases. In addition, it has set an even more ambitious goal of halving the country’s TB burden by 2030. The World Bank has been providing financial and technical support through its lending operations, as well as by bringing in global experience and experts to innovative systemic approaches that are supported by empirical evidence.
