The World Bank Transport GP is providing, through technical assistance, support to the Sierra Leone Public Transport Authority (SLPTA) to promote private sector engagement and create a competitive environment for service delivery. The goal is to develop a comprehensive financial strategy for the public transport sector to ensure its sustainability and growth. In this context, the World Bank is seeking services of a consultancy firm to undertake the following tasks:

  • Develop a Financial Strategy.
  • Build Institutional Capacity.
  • Improve Service delivery and data management to expand public transport reach and attractiveness and maximize climate benefits.

The assignment will also focus on gender considerations in route planning and fare setting, ensuring safety for women and girls.
